The London School of Tibetan Studies

In 2010 the new branch of the International Shang Shung Institute was opened in London.

Following the directive of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, this new branch aims to focus on the study of Tibetan culture within a traditional academic context. Based on the study programme of a traditional Tibetan College, this exciting new Institute will offer students the opportunity to train in the ‘Five Great Fields of Knowledge’ or ‘Five Sciences’.
