The new location of the Shang Shung Institute
and the Dzogchen Community Austria Regions
Since beginning of October 2008 the Shang Shung Institute is staying in a totally new adopted place: we can use the entire first floor of the former school-house in Gschmaier, in eastern Styria. The house is located on the top of a hill, surrounded by vineyards and with a brilliant view in all four directions. Now we have enough space for our new office, our library, our shop, and our permanent exhibition of Buddhist statues (here you can see these statues). We will also hold several seminars and courses in our new place.
It is also new location for the Dzogchen Community Austria Regions were we can meet and practice together. Please visit the website www.dzogchen.at to get more information about the Dzogchen Community and its activities.

Opening ceremony
On December 3rd we had the opening ceremony of the new office of the Shang Shung Institute and of Yeselling, the new Ling of the international Dzogchen Community.
Elio Guarisco lead the ceremony. More than 20 people from different countries participated in this ceremony.
